One of our most special times of the year is just around the corner here at Valley Churches United. Our annual Valley Christmas Project touches the lives of many local residents with your help. Through your generous giving, you share the true spirit of Christmas with our less fortunate neighbors.
WITH YOUR HELP
- Low-income residents receive all the food needed to prepare a holiday meal, including a turkey or ham. Residents also receive a gift card to a local grocery story, as well as some holiday treats.
- Children in low-income families receive Christmas gifts chosen specially for them, based on their Santa letters.
- The homeless who rely on other agencies for food and shelter (such as St. Francis Soup Kitchen) receive small gift packages of hygiene kits, socks, hats and gloves.
- Residents living at full-time care facilities, such as Rose Acres and Willowbrook Care Home, receive Christmas gifts and holiday cookies.
