THANKSGIVING PROJECT

PRESS RELEASE!

THANKSGIVING PROJECT 2011

Community Outreach Since 1982

Valley Churches United Missions' emergency food pantry provides food to the needy in the San Lorenzo Valley and Scotts Valley area. This Thanksgiving we anticipate over 600 households will need help. We hope to be able to provide a holiday meal to all – with your help.

Our community churches and grocery stores, recognizing the need, are participating by distributing empty bags to be filled and returned to Valley Churches United Missions for distribution. To view a flyer that indicates what items are most needed, click here. (In PDF format Adobe Acrobat Reader) We ask that you pick up a bag from your favorite local store and fill it with what you can.

Beginning November 1st donations can be brought to Valley Churches United Mission’s Holiday Boutique on Hwy 9 @ Love Creek Road. Hours are 10 am to 5 pm weekdays and from 11am to 4 pm on weekends.
