BUCKS FOR HUNGER DRIVE Your donated dollars purchase FOOD. In 2008 our missions distributed emergency food bags to an average of 1,450 people per month. Your donated dollars provide CRISIS rent/mortgage, utility, medical/dental assistance, educational supplies, bus passes, gas vouchers, disaster relief and fund our mission programs. They are distributed CAREFULLY to residents in their time of need. We depend on your response to our VALLEY CHRISTMAS PROJECT AND BUCKS FOR HUNGER DRIVE mailings to support our mission all year round. Donations of CASH or FOOD during the months of March thru April qualify us for a matched grant from the Feinstein Foundation. Other ways to contribute are to DESIGNATE your United Way donation to VCUM or MATCHED GRANTS, MEMORIAL GIFTS and “IN HONOR of GIFTS, BIRTHDAYS, ANNIVERSERIES for a loved one, APPRECIATED STOCK, SEASONAL GIFTS, include us in your WILL and VOLUNTEER YOUR TIME.
